Destacando o ator Woody Harrelson, o vídeo de Song for Someone é na realidade mais um curta metragem do U2 oriundo o álbum Songs of Innocence (2014), dirigido por Vincent Haycock o filme mostra o dia da libertação de um condenado, destacando Zoe Harrelson, rebenta de Woody em papel em que interpreta a filha do ex-condenado.
O tema se liga diretamente ao seriado RECTIFY, série premiada que mostra a história de Daniel Holden e sua família, em drama que retrata a agonia de viver por 19 anos no corredor da morte, até ser libertado após um exame de DNA.

O resultado impressiona e mostra bem como uma banda pode e deve sempre se reinventar e experimentar novas linguagens.
